Question

Anonymous asked: So, I like this girl, but I live in Ky and she lives in Missouri. We're thinking about dating, but not quite sure how the distance thing will work. We wouldn't get very much in-person-time at all until I got out of college,if even then. Do you have any advice about this? Do you have any experience with long-distance? I know they say LD is a no-no, but I really like her and I want to make it work.

Well yes I have been in a Long distance relationship before but not as far as yours. What I would say about it is if you truly deep down inside feel like it could work then why not go for it. If she encourages you to do what you want as you do the same for her then hell why not. But let me remind you it has it’s down sides. Like trust it’s really hard to make these work if you don’t trust them and they don’t trust you. Sometimes they could say this or say say something and really they are doing the complete opposite You just have to be wry careful when it comes to that. And you NEED communication if you guys don’t have that then why bother you know. If you have trust and ways to communicate then y’all will be fine everything should/will fall into place. You can’t go into one of these types of relationships thinking what if or just second guessing yourself in general. These are theist rough and brutal. I wish you the best in this and I hope i have helped somewhat. Go in with an open mund to anything and everything if she is the one in your heart you’ll figure it put and also remember she has to feel that same way. No 70/30 or 80/20 rules it got to be a 50/50. Goodluck :D
